Bailey Library is the Slippery Rock University only campus library which is located in the Quad. The library is open from 7:30am to 12am which the students populate no mater the time of day. There are three tiers to the building itself, each having its very own and unique purpose. The first floor being used for food, with TB available, as well as large study areas and its typically quite loud. The second floor is more dedicated to small group study and is generally the second quietest of the three floors. There are private study rooms for single use as well as small groups. The third floor is the quietest and is reserved for private studies and is the quietest.

Some students are in the library every day and are used to the possibility of crowds and where the bests spots are. During mid terms and finals week the library is open 24/7 and is usually more populated than normal with high foot traffic on the first floor and it is nearly impossible to get private rooms when you need them.
